Love Failure (titled Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi in Tamil) (English: How To Mess Up In Love) is a 2012 Indian bilingual romantic comedy film based on the same-titled short film directed by debutant Balaji Mohan and resembles to the Belgium film Cashback and Hollywood film (500) Days of Summer. Starring Siddharth and Amala Paul, the film was simultaneously produced in both Tamil and Telugu languages. It was released worldwide on 17 February 2012 to high critical acclaim and was declared a hit.
Cast
- Siddharth as Arun, a second year ECE student. Doesn't have any challenge in life. So he takes up a challenge to find his girl
- Amala Paul as Parvathi, a second year computer science engg student. Fall's in love with Arun.
- Ravi Raghavendra as Prabhu, Arun's father, an advocate by profession. Very friendly with his son
- Sri Ranjani as Vasanthi, Arun's mother, house wife. Controls the house totally.
- Suresh as Akilan Venkatesan, Parvathi's father. Business is his passion by losses lot of money in business and moves away from family
- Surekha as Saroja, Parvathi's mother. Southern Railways employee. Doesn't like her husband's careless attitude. Tries for divorce from her husband.
- Arjun as Siva, Arun & Vignesh's friend. Failed in love several times. Due to his experiences in love acts as a Love guru to friends.
- Vignesh as Vignesh, Arun & Siva's friend. Falls in love with his first year junior Rashmi.
- Dhanya Balakrishna as Rashmi, first year ECE student, is in love with final year ECE student Jayashimha.
- Shyam as John, Siva's friend
- Pooja as Cathy, John's girlfriend.
- Gayathri Raguram makes a special appearance in the song "Alaipaaya Alaipaya" as a Fitness Instructor.
