 David & Goliath is a 2013 Malayalam action film written by Anoop Menon and directed by Rajeev Nath. It stars Jayasurya, Anoop Menon, Soumya and Anumol in the lead roles. The film is produced by Sudeep Karat under the banner of Sal Roza Motion Pictures and Line of Colors and features music composed by Ratheesh Vegha, whilst cinematography is handled by Jithu Damodar and is edited by Sian.

In the Bible, the story of David and Goliath is about how the meek and innocent David kills the philistine giant Goliath through a slingshot in the battle of Philistine and Israel. The movie is a modern interpretation of the story, which deals with the concept of the strong and weak, and has Jayasurya playing David while Anoop Menon appears as Sunny. The film's story revolves around a church and the few characters who are closely associated with it. The biblical characters are given modern day interpretations and show how in every David there resides a strong and courageous Goliath who can win even a difficult battle.

Kutteem Kolum (also written as Kuttiyum Kolum) is a 2013 Malayalam Comedy film directed by Guinness Pakru, who made his directorial debut with this film. Starring Guinness Pakru, Munna, Adithya and Sanusha in the lead roles, the film was produced by Ansar Vasco under the banner United Films. The script was written by Suresh Satheesh, while the story was written by Pakru himself which revolves around the bonding between friends living in an imaginary village named Kumarapuram bordering Tamil Nadu. Cinematography was handled by Vinod Bharathi, and the stills by Vibin Velayudhan. The film released on 30 March 2013.

Plot

Viswa Naga Chaitanya is a dhadar chasing beggers who attempts to buy in a supermarket and after he catches them and handovers to his brother. Later his family members are introduced. His older brother, (Srikanth), and his sister-in-law (Samiksha). Viswas meets Rhea(Kajal) who is an only daughter of wealthy business tycoon (Mukesh Rishi) who is concerned about money and growth but not about affection and love. While Viswas is trying to get attention of Rhea he will accidentally get into a quarrel with a gang who does business with human trafficking. He fights and frees some girls who were kidnapped and this gang is owned by Rahul dev who tries to find Viswas and end him up. Then Rhea's dad sets up a proposal with another son of a business tycoon, Amit. Rhea is not interested. The gang's owner soon finds out that Viswas's brother works for him and he tries to chase him down but Viswas beats everybody up. He soon realizes that he has to save Rhea from her soon-to-be husband. Rhea's fiance tries to kill her by locking her in a car and throwing the car into an ocean. But Viswas saves Rhea. The film ends with Viswas bringing Rhea out of the ocean in a blanket and the two are talking.

Shootout at Wadala is a 2013 Bollywood action crime drama film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. It is the sequel to the 2007 film Shootout at Lokhandwala, and is based on the book Dongri to Dubai. The film features John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, and Sonu Sood in lead roles.

The film will dramatize the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where gangster Manya Surve was shot dead, which took place at the junction next to Dr. Ambedkar college, Wadala, Mumbai on 11 January 1982. The film was expected to release on 1 May 2013, but has been postponed to 3 May 2013.
